Mechanical and Electrical Fitter

The role is carrying out Mechanical & Electrical overhaul including stripping and refitting. You will be specifically focused on modifications, interior strip and replacements within a heavy industrial environment.

– Work from written instruction (VMI)
– Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements
– Removal of interiors and body sides
– Refitting parts
– Remove large components
– Replacing mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawings
– Working with conveyors and machinery
– Electrical knowledge and experience

Candidate profile

You will be a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitter preferably with experience within the heavy industrial sector. The hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. There are no nights or weekends with this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: From £17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
